Did you know that there’s a nuclear reactor right here in Irvine? Its main function is to support the educational and research programs at UCI. It’s used for various courses such as Radioisotope Techniques, Nuclear and Radiochemistry and Nuclear Reactor Fundamentals in the chemistry department. We’re lucky enough to have a private tour of the facility, along with a Q&A session!
